Yes, that would be the 8 Series in general, the M8 in particular, and the M8 Convertible to be as accurate as humanly possible. Actually, no, that would be the BMW M8 Convertible in Birch Green - the color that walks the line between yellow and green and runs way past the line between discretion and obnoxiousness. We'll let you decide which way.

With the specs this car has, it can wear any color it wants. We're talking about a 4.4-liter V8 engine with 600 or 625 horsepower (the latter available in the Competition version) and a zero to 62 miles per hour (100 kph) acceleration of 3.4 seconds.

I know, in a world where four-door family sedans can do it over a second quicker, that doesn't seem like much, but it's only because we've been spoiled. Besides, comparing V8s to electric motors is akin to the whole "apples and oranges" thing when it comes to sprinting off the line.

And no matter how quickly it accelerates, it's worth noting the 8 Series isn't a sports car. Sure, the M treatment can turn anything into a track beast, but at its core, it remains a GT that's much more at ease on a highway than on a racetrack. Or, considering this is the convertible version, replace that highway with the French Riviera.

Right now, though, this Birch Green , the car looks gorgeous in this color. It hides away its size and makes it look a lot nimbler. It's like that sweater we all have that we think is the most flattering to our figure. Only here, it actually works.
